Catering to all experience levels

Students learn how to use a variety of tools and processes.

Jewelry-Making Basics

Taught in conjunction with the University of Kentucky Fine Arts Institute.

Wednesdays, 6 - 9 p.m.

Explore the art of jewelry making! Two 4-week courses will examine traditional processes of jewelry design and assembly. We will discuss tools, methods, and where ideas come from, then design and execute your ideas into finished pieces. This class will have something for everyone, regardless of experience. The second class can be used to continue where you left off or as a new start if you weren't able to attend the first class. Tools and basic materials will be provided. Some additional supplies may be desired to finish individual designs.

Session One Dates: June 15, 22, 29, July 6

Session Two Dates: July 20, 27, August 3, 10

Location: 306 Fine Arts Building, University of Kentucky
